The Lucinda Pen has a strikingly tall cap and decorated patterned section joined to the nib. The curved bow shaped clip is wide and guides the eye to the pattern below the wood body.
These pens use the standard Parker style refill.
The cap is the twist section to lower the ink.
The body of this pen is made from Snakewood.
Snakewood is an exotic wood known technically as piratinera guianensis. It comes from a small, relatively rare tree found in the forests of Central and South America. An extremely dense hardwood, snakewood can be somewhat challenging to work with as it splits fairly easily, but when turned polishes beautifully.
